West Midlands Regional Health Emergency Planning

The Health Emergency Planning Team (HEPA) provides round-the-clock support and advice to the emergency services, local authorities, utility companies and industry partners during incidents which affect the general public. We were actively involved in the emergency response to the summer floods in 2007.

We provide a range of services, including:

  • Emergency response set-up
  • Emergency management
  • Incident logging
  • Contact tracing

The team includes a Regional Health Emergency Planning Adviser (RHEPA), two Planning Advisors, and a Planning Assistant.
